"The Wisdom Tree"

10x13" wood canvas that I have paint poured this beautiful Tree of Wisdom in the moonlight.  This painting was done in 3 different stages in my home studio, I then created each part of this piece.  The base was done with the swipe method using dark teal pearl paint as the contrast and black. I am totally in love with this teal.
I did the center base with the shading technique.  I used a 24kt gold and thick gel medium put into a piping bag and piped the tree onto the painting. That gives the painting a 3D effect.  Last I resined over it all to a stunning shine, which gave it lovely depth.
