"Rare Fish Of The Sea"
10x13" wood canvas Fish Of The Deep Sea, paint poured with premium TLP pigments. This was an amazing, vibrant pour that I had dreamt of.
My hubby and I had just watched a movie called The Meg. It was a bit too scary for me. I think that's why I had this dream that inspired this painting. 🤗🐡🐚🌊
The pigments are always a favorite of mine bc they are so colorful & vibrant. They also give off this glow & sheen in the colors. A bit like metallic paints do. Hmm.. I wonder if there is a bit of metallic in the pigments...idk but it does make me wonder.
Either way, this painting is definitely one of a kind. When I poured it...it seemed like it had a mind of its own in the formation, it took.
I mean, when I poured it, it did most of the work for me. I've never had another painting do do that, like it was pre-destined or something. The eye came out on it's own in just the perfect spot and the shape of it did the same. I did some embellishing around the edges and small fins. I added sand and real shells, as well as handmade by me resin cabs to use as bubbles.
It is so beautiful, that I gurantee.guarantee.
