"Geisha's Prayer"

This is a 10"X10"X1"D,  paint poured on a wood canvas painting. 
I have used premium acrylic paints and metallic 24kt gold as well. Black base and gold and deep red & gold. 
The method I used is a straight pour. It gave me lovely lines and showcases all the colors.  
It is a bold, vibrant and colorful piece. The gold has a glitz and sheen through out.
It is a one of a kind painting due to the fluid liquid paints. The paints flow together differently every time you pour them.
It is also up to the skill of the artist and their own creative ability to tilt and move the paints into the best and beautiful composition. 
I have sealed this piece with resin. Resin showcases your paint colors and adds depth to your paintings. It also extends the life of your painting.
I have also embellished this painting with a cabachon leopard like background with a geisha holding an umbrella on her knees looking like she is praying. The gold has a "old gold" patina on it.
When I sat this piece on the painting, I was enraptured by how it felt to me,  like it had found it's  home.
