"Don't Go Leafing My Heart" SOLD

This paint pour painting is made on a 6X6" wood box canvas, framed on a 8X8" frame in my home studio.
This is a real "leaf" painting. 
This piece has a poured acrylic Mars black base. A painted leaf pressed into the base.
I used 24kt gold, then white leaf on top. This gives a 3D look. I sealed this piece with gloss varnish. 
You may wonder why white leaves.  Here in Michigan, often winter snow can come early before all the leaves fall. So the leaves are covered in white. It's  quite beautiful, this gave me the inspiration for this painting.
*It is recommended to Not place a painting in a direct beam of the sun due to UV damage or fading.  It is perfectly fine to place in a sunlit room, just not in a direct beam of the sun.
