"Colorful Tropics"

This is a 7"X14" paint poured with acrylic fluid paints on a canvas that I have created in my home studio.

I named this painting the tropics because of the colors I chose and how it reminded me of a time in my life at around 8 years old that I was on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with my parents. I remember it bc the colors and flowers all around the hotel we're so beautiful and amazing.

That was my memory and the reason I used these acrylic liquid paint colors. So bright, colorful and vibrant. I used the straight pour method, then tilted the canvas to achieve the most beautiful configuration of colors for this piece.

I waited for the drying time to end and after viewing it during the drying period. I decided I wanted to embellish with flowers and a butterfly.

I sealed this painting with gloss varnish to finish this painting.
