Bloomington Beauty
Paint poured bloom with premium acrylic & metallic paints. Sealed with resin.
Blooms always look easy, but they're not. You need just the right consistency of the paints so they don't slide off the canvas. The base paint needs to be not to thick or thin so the paints don't get absorbed into the base paint. Yes, a delicate fluid flow is necessary to get the ideal beautiful bloom. I wrecked the bloom to get movement & effects that I like. I made sparkly resin cabachons to set off the bloom, giving droplets of water effects. I free handed the stem and leaves with 24kt gold. All of this to achieve a lovely one of a kind bloom.
**It is recommended to Not place your painting in a direct beam of sunlight due to UV damage or fading. It is perfectly fine to place your painting in a sunlit room. Just Not in a direct beam of sun.
